Nothing makes Dr. Benjamin happier than seeing a patient who has dealt with missing or compromised teeth for years recover their function, aesthetics, and confidence thanks to his work. Dr. Benjamin was unlucky enough to have broken one of his front teeth when he was a child, and the situation ended up taking years to resolve. Once he was finally able to chew and smile normally again, he realized that dentistry is a fantastic service to be able to provide, so he decided to pursue it.
After attending UC Davis and earning his dental degree at UC San Francisco, Dr. Benjamin did a one-year residency at the VA Healthcare Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He then completed a three-year prosthodontics residency and became board-certified shortly thereafter. Today, he is a certified Bioclear provider (a type of dental bonding that can serve as an alternative to crowns and veneers) and a member of multiple professional organizations:
Dr. Benjamin is married to our own Dr. Gloria, and they have two children. He is fully fluent in Spanish, and in his free time, he likes to exercise (usually on his Peloton), play basketball, or read.
